 For 190 years the American Bible Society's goal has been to make the Bible available to everyone in a language and format each can understand and afford. In today's hectic and troubled times it has become difficult to get people to read the Bible and many have lost touch with their beliefs.

 
 
THE SHOW
With this in mind the American Bible Society begins a new path by spreading the message of the Bible through their new half-hour talk show "American Bible Presents." Each week, our host Reverend Paul Irwin, President and CEO of the American Bible Society, meets with a team of experts to uncover the truths behind many of today's hot topics. "American Bible Society Presents" evaluates these issues from a Christian perspective and utilizes the Lord's word to provide guidance to its viewers in a religiously uplifting program that provides both hope and information to its audience.

In the first episodes of "American Bible Society Presents" Reverend Irwin deals with such topics as: debunking "The Da Vinci Code", the validity of Christ's Passion and the undying mission to spread the Lord's word internationally.

Dr. Irwin, an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church, taught at the Boston University School of Theology, has served as president/CEO of The Humane Society of the United States and as president of the World Society for the Protection of Animals, EarthVoice, the Center for Respect of Life and the Environment, the International Center for Earth Concerns and Humane Society International.
